So I went to BestBuy last night and got myself a Nikon D40. We need it to take pictures of the new member of our family who is going to make an appearance soon :). I couldn’t wait for the morning all night, so the first thing I did this morning was to run out and shoot a few pictures. The two images below are the ones I liked, hope you like them too. I can’t wait to get out of the house and take some more, would probably drive up to the lake and shoot some there. Thanks to Arvind for his suggestions and recommendations. Good first attempt man. I started out with playing with DoF as well. Try to get closer to the subject – your DoF will get trippier :) As far as wordpress plugins go, check out http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-flickr-manager/ – this integrates flickr and wordpress. Helps you pick and choose images more conveniently, to post on your blog. Thanks for the shout out man – really appreciate it.

Thanks for the feedback man, I will try to get closer to the subject next time around, I have a few shots from our visit to the lake but still have to sort them out and all. I will check the flickr manager.
